2008/09 SEASON TICKET INFORMATION
Derby County CEO and President Tom Glick says that the 'incredible' loyalty shown by the club's supporters this season is the primary motivation behind the club's announcement today of a FREEZE on season ticket prices for the 2008/09 campaign.
Meanwhile, Rams manager Paul Jewell has thrown his backing behind the campaign, urging fans get on board for a fantastic journey ahead.
"Now you can all become my best signings of the summer", says Paul Jewell.
"One of the reasons I came to the club was because of its quite astonishing supporters. A full and bursting Pride Park is an intimidating cauldron and I know just what an important role our fans have to play in the coming year."
With excitement and anticipation already growing for next season, Derby County's management have made a PERSONAL promise of 'The Same Seat For The Same Price' to the club's most loyal supporters.
Derby County have backed this up by announcing a simplified renewal process with the reintroduction of credit card bookings and a range of revamped online options to make renewal EASIER, QUICKER and MORE CONVENIENT.
There is also a new Rams Card being introduced for supporters, offering 0% financing for 6 months.
The price freeze offer, which runs until the 12th April applies to current Gold Members as well as existing season ticket holders.
Announcing the news, Tom Glick (pictured left), Derby County CEO and President, said the decision NOT to increase the cost of a season ticket is a direct reward for the loyalty shown by the supporters:
"We are about to embark on a great journey here at Derby County," he said, "and we want our supporters on board for the fantastic times ahead.
"I am new to this club, but the way the people of Derby have welcomed me has been truly overwhelming.
"The passion, dedication and commitment the fans have shown to this club is something I admire beyond all else, and I wanted to personally thank them for their loyalty by offering them something in return.
"I would like to think that I can approach the job of bringing success to this fantastic club with the same passion the supporters show in supporting it, and together we can achieve our common goal of making Derby County a force in English football once again."
Tom Glick said that in his business experience, the more convenient the renewal process is made, the greater the response from supporters.
"Allowing fans to again renew by credit card is a big step in making the process more user-friendly," he said, "and we also want to prioritise the development of online bookings."
Derby County will officially launch their season ticket campaign on Saturday 15th March, at the home match against Manchester United.
