Polish international midfielder Przemyslaw Kazmierczak arrived at Derby in early July on a season-long loan from Portuguese giants FC Porto.
The midfielder played Champions League football with the 2004 winners last season and had nine caps for his country before he joined the Rams.
Kazmierczak, known simply as Kaz in Portugal, joined Porto in July last year and was involved in their Champions League campaign, starting against Liverpool at Anfield.
The 6'3" man started his career at LKS Lodz and also played for Piotrcovia Piortkow Trybunalski and Pogin Szczecin before starring at Boavista in 2006/07.
Kazmierczak's form with Boavista earned him the move to Porto last summer.
