Mo Camara was signed by Derby during the August 2006 transfer window to add further experience to the ranks during a transitional period at Pride Park Stadium.

Guinea-born Camara joined on a free transfer from Scottish giants Celtic, having already tasted life in the Championship with Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

He has also played in France for Lille, Le Havre and Troyes, and became Davies's second defensive capture in as many days after the signing of Dean Leacock from Fulham.

Camara has vast experience in his position and his athleticism also makes him a danger going forward.

He scored his first goal for the Rams in August's Carling Cup defeat to Blackpool in August 2007, and a Premier League debut followed a few days later at Liverpool.

But they are his only appearances so far for the club this season and he headed out on loan to Norwich City in the autumn of 2007, where he played ten games, before returning briefly to Derby only to then rejoin the Canaries until the end of the season.
