Talented Latvian midfielder Andrejs Pereplotkins and exciting Serbian striker Aleksandar Prijovic have joined the Rams ahead of the start of the new season.

Pereplotkins, 23, played for over an hour in last Saturday's pre-season friendly with FC Utrecht and impressed on the right of Derby's midfield.

He arrives on a season-long loan from Skonto FC and brings with him experience of European football along with five caps for his country. His international clearance has already arrived.

Prijovic, 18, is a Serbian U19 international who was with Italian side Parma last season but rejected a new deal with them to join Derby.

He stands at 6'2" tall and has a good eye for goal.

Prijovic was born in St Gallen, in Switzerland, but qualifies to play for Serbia via his parents. He is still awaiting international clearance.

He takes squad number 34, while Pereplotkins picks up number 33.
