Striker Robert Earnshaw says Derby have to "enjoy" their final two Premier League games - but wants to see them learn from Monday's defeat to Arsenal.

Saturday's trip to Blackburn Rovers is followed by a last-day meeting with Reading at Pride Park ahead of the Rams' return to the Coca-Cola Championship.

The visit to Ewood Park comes on the back of that 6-2 defeat at home to the Gunners, though Earnshaw is glad of a quick chance to make amends.

"We have had a look at it but we have got another game quickly," he told RamsWorld.

"We have got to enjoy the next two games because they are in the Premier League and we are not going to be playing here next year.

"Our aim is to try to be better than we were against Arsenal and to go to Blackburn and try and get something from there."

Earnshaw watched on as a substitute as Derby started brightly against their North London opponents but faded as the game went on.

Though the Welsh international can take plenty of positives.

"Obviously we held them and played so well for the first 20/25 minutes and that is the level we have got to play at," he said.

"You have got to take that forward, to try and improve and play like that for longer - we have to create chances and stop goals.

"We will improve and we will learn lessons from the game.

"You have got to learn when you play against the best teams and take things from them so that you can do better."

Monday's defeat saw Derby's record signing register his first Premier League goal as a Ram since joining for £3.5m from Norwich City.

He admitted it lifted a weight off his mind but would rather it meant success for the Rams.

He added: "It was a positive for me but I want to be scoring the equaliser or the winner, so it is disappointing on that front.

"We were coming back into the game so it was good at the time but then the final result takes the edge off it.

"It was a positive but there were a lot of negatives afterwards so it's a case of taking the good things, analysing the bad things and trying to learn from them."
