The latest victim of this season's full-back injury jinx could still feature against Sunderland this Saturday.

Dean Leacock, who has impressed filling in at right-back following serious injuries that ruled out Tyrone Mears and Danny Mills for the season, limped out of the defeat at Wigan after injuring his hip in an accidental clash with skipper Robbie Savage.

Though he struggled through until half-time, Leacock was in obvious discomfort and was replaced by Andy Todd after the break - but the defender still managed to pick up the vote as Derby's man-of-the-match in one Sunday newspaper!

He spent Monday on the treatment table while the rest of the first team squad took part in a double training session, but the Rams' medical team haven't ruled him out for the visit of Roy Keane's Black Cats (see ticket details below).
