July 18 1997 marked the opening of a new chapter in the long and distinguished history of Derby County Football Club.

The Rams had been at home at the Baseball Ground for well over a century but the time had come for a move - and ten years ago today, Pride Park Stadium opened its doors to the public for the first time.
