Because of the many thousands of applications we receive each year from extremely worthy causes, Derby County has a policy of designating ten local charities each season that we support full-on in terms of donations, match collections, player appearances and fund-raising events.

Our designated charities have to be our focus and unfortunately we do not have the resources to fulfil charitable requests outside the ten charities listed here.

If you wish to apply for designated status at Derby County for the 2008/09 season, or another season in the future, please do so in writing - explaining the aims and objectives of your organisation and any special activities you have planned - to:

* Derbyshire Childrens Hospital
* Stroke Rehabilitation Unit - DRI
