Manager of ticket sales

Derby County Football Club are seeking to appoint a manager of ticket sales to implement strategies that will increase the sale of season tickets, partial ticket packages and group sales.

This is a new role within the club so the successful candidate will be responsible for the initial set up and implementation of the proactive sales strategy and the recruitment of a team to support the activity.

The role will require active participation in outside sales meetings with leaders in the business marketplace delivering enhanced hospitality programmes to leverage a "full menu marketing" approach.

It will also include the development of pricing structures for newly formed group sales products.

The successful candidate should have previous experience of managing an inside or telesales marketing sales force, a strong proven track record of success in a sales environment and have strong budgeting skills.

Previous experience of selling within a sports ticket environment or entertainment arena would also be highly advantageous.

Derby County Football Club is also looking for an enthusiastic, meticulous and dedicated individual to join our commercial team.

The successful applicant will have exceptional sales skills with a proven track record for results, ideally in a business to business environment.

Exceptional customer service skills are an essential part of the role as is the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines.

This pivotal role will involve providing first-class administration support to the commercial team and will also involve event and matchday hospitality planning, requiring excellent organisational skills.

The ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and possess a enthusiastic and professional attitude.
