RECORD RESPONSE FROM KIDS
Membership of the thriving Young Rams Club has reached an all-time high of 3,300 - and it's still rising!
Derby County boasts football's first junior members' club - founded way back in the early 1970s - and interest has never been so intense.
Benefits in 2007/08 include a £5 gift voucher for shopDCFC, Rammie's top 10 goals of the 2006 season DVD, membership card and a birthday card. Originally a Rams goodie bag and beach ball were also part of the membership package, but demand on these has been so great that new members signing up now will receive instead an exclusive Young Rams cap.
The cost of membership for season ticket holders is £10 (platinum membership) and £20 for non season ticket holders (gold membership).
Once again during the 2007/08 season our gold members can access a combined adult and child ticket for Derby County home league games for an amazing £20 (subject to availability).
Derby County Football in the Community (FITC) runs the Young Rams and its manager Simon Carnall said: "The demand for membership is unprecedented but perhaps unsurprising considering the fabulous Premier League benefits and the quality of the membership package. We believe at Derby County that it makes sense to invest in the future by looking after our young fans. We were the first club to take this line well over 35 years ago and it makes us proud that we are still one of the best at what we do."
Young Rams membership for the 2007/08 season is available by calling Derby County on 0870 444 1884, and then pressing option one.
